Equestes is an institute that combines knowledge and experience in the international interfaces of the veterinary and legal equestrian sports world.
Equestes aims to act as a professional binding consultant/adviser. Equestes may also be appointed as an expert at the request of courts, mediators and arbitration institutes. Equestes wants to emphasize that it will only act as an advisory party or expert with approval of all parties involved.

Equestes to WEF in Wellington
On Thursday February 16th 2012 the Equestes documents will be presented to the American equine public through a presentation at the Wellington Winter Festival. The presentation will be given together with Yvonne Ocrant from Hinshaw Lawyers (US) and Erik Bergman (International veterinarian and expert in the field of equine locomotor pathalogy and reproduction). One of Equestes’ primary objectives is to organize and maintain a group of veterinary equine surgeons and equine lawyers, referred to by Equestes as the Expert Panel. The Expert Panel consists of attorneys and veterinarians who possess extensive experience in their professional fields with respect to international equestrian sports.
